When should we arrive?

Because I book my Corolla Beach Family mini-sessions back-to-back, there is no wiggle room. If you are running late I unfortunately cannot give you extra time during your session since it would push back each session following. Please plan to arrive 20 minutes early, to give yourself and your family plenty of time to settle in, walk to the meeting area and deal with any last-minute issues that may arise. That way we can be sure to get all the photos you were hoping for of your beautiful family!

Mini sessions are scheduled back-to-back and any amount of time that you are late will directly impact the length of your session. Please note that due to the nature of mini sessions, time cannot be made up and refunds will not be given for late arrivals. A good idea is to familiarize yourself with the location in your GPS to know the general travel time the day before your session.

Can I give or sell my mini-session to someone else?

YES! Absolutely. You can gift or sell your mini-session if you are unable to attend.

What happens if we cannot make it to our session?

Unfortunately, due to the nature of beach mini-sessions, all sessions are non-refundable. However, you can always gift or sell your spot to a friend or family member.

What happens if rains?

Every effort will be made to reschedule your session.

How long does it take to get my photos?

Your photos, along with a your print release will be available via digital download in 7-10 days.

Can we bring our dog?

Sure! Pets are totally family members! Let’s just make sure they’re groomed, well behaved, and on a leash. Bring plenty of treats and a few chew toys, to be safe.

We're not the "typical family", is that a problem?

Worried that your family doesn’t look like the “typical family”? Maybe you’ve got two moms or two dads as part of your family or something else that makes you feel “different from” other families? Know that I run an inclusive company and families of all types are very welcome here!

How many people can we bring?

There is a maximum of seven (7) people allowed fro my mini beach photo sessions in Corolla,OBX. Sorry, no exceptions.

What should we wear for the session?

Once your session is scheduled, along with a confirmation email, you will receive some helpful clothing hints.

Do you offer prints too?

Yes, you will have the option to purchase fully retouched custom printed and framed portraits if you like. This information will be included in the digital download of your photos.
